In 2024 I had the opportunity to spend a week at Villa Ardore in Tuscany, Italy, after being invited by Worth Avenue Yachts to photograph their new Land & Sea Excursion in partnership with the private villa.
The itinerary combined the beauty of the Tuscan countryside with the luxury of exploring the Mediterranean by yacht, creating a unique experience for guests.
My role was to visually document the experience as it unfolded, capturing the villa, yacht life, and the activities that brought the itinerary to life. From the quiet details of the property to the larger experiences shared throughout the week, the goal was to create a collection of images that conveyed not only the beauty of the destination, but what it felt like to be there.
I had the unique “challenge” of being able to experience every activity myself while documenting it all as it unfolded. Without staging scenes or interrupting moments, I had to balance being present enough to savor the experience with the awareness that each moment was fleeting, and I had just one chance to capture it as it naturally happened.
It somehow felt nearly effortless to capture (although this was by far my most prestigious client to date) as the attention to detail was astounding!
