Behind the Scenes at the Palm Beach International Boat Show with Worth Avenue Yachts
Worth Avenue Yachts invited me back for our 4th project together, and 3rd boat show, to photograph the Palm Beach International Boat Show, where I captured everything from the ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new Palm Beach office to yacht listing photography, event coverage, and commercial imagery for the brands partnering with them throughout the show.
This year, we brought in professional models to help bring our creative vision to life, adding another layer to the imagery we were creating. This being my third yacht show, the environment started to feel familiar, and I found myself working more intuitively, with creativity flowing naturally as I collaborated with the team. I also had the opportunity to photograph listing images for the largest yacht I had ever worked on at that point, a vessel listed for $50 million—a pretty incredible milestone to add to the experience.
Something I've come to appreciate through these experiences is the amount of craftsmanship and dedication behind the world of luxury. It's easy to look at an expensive yacht or product and focus solely on the price, but there are so many talented people behind these things who have spent years refining their craft. From the captains and crew to the builders, designers, and brands creating exceptional products, there's a level of care and attention to detail that deserves recognition. These aren't things made by rushing through the process or cutting corners; the quality, materials, expertise, and stories behind them are part of what make them special. That philosophy resonates deeply with how I approach my own photography business. I want to take my time, create the best work I'm capable of, and deliver something that reflects genuine care rather than simply getting the job done. Perhaps that's why I've increasingly felt at home in this environment. Beneath the luxury and the price tags, I recognize a shared commitment to craftsmanship, high standards, and doing things well.
